However, speaking of the duration, do not forget that the manufacturer sets the total operating time for this model to no more than 2 hours a day.

At least, outwardly, we have a completely professional unit: the mini-sink is assembled on a solid metal frame, on which the pump unit is installed. Moreover, the unit is interesting: a brass pump with a capacity of 740 liters per hour at an operating pressure of up to 210 bar. The drive is from an asynchronous single-phase motor with a power of 3.2 kW, so it is definitely necessary to connect it, taking into account the starting current, directly to a separate and competent line on the shield (since at a rated operating current of 14.5 A, the starting one will decently jump for 16 A, and this will require attention when choosing an RCD: cheap ones will eventually begin to “fly out” on their own).

The equipment of the mini-sink is excellent: there is a fully functional foam nozzle, and as many as eight nozzles with different spray angles (2 of each type). Red ones, for example, form a straight jet, with which you need to be extremely careful: it will break through a car bumper at high pressure without question. Yellow, green and white give a spray of 15, 25 and 40 degrees, respectively. Also included in the package is a mud mill.

Nevertheless, this model cannot be attributed to the number of fully professional high-pressure washers. At least for the reason that the warranty terms strictly prohibit obtaining an extended warranty for equipment “in the course of business activities”, and the standard warranty is only one year. That is, the company itself tactfully hints that it does not consider its products professional, on which they earn money, and do not use them from time to time. Plus, there are complaints about minor and even stupid breakdowns during operation from users (for example, the frame begins to rot over time — and this despite the fact that the sink, by definition, works in puddles of water and in an atmosphere of high humidity!).

This Italian mini-sink is built around a three-piston axial pump with a working pressure of 140 bar at a maximum of 180 bar, coupled with a 220-volt 2.8 kW electric motor. The maximum water performance of this model is not bad, if you have to “pour” from the heart: 540 liters per minute. The body of the pump head is brass.

But the built-in foam generator here is essentially “purely for show”: using a normal foaming nozzle will be much more convenient and efficient. The manufacturer even has several options to choose from, which hints.

The equipment itself is poor — only an 8-meter hose, a gun, a jet nozzle and 5 high-pressure nozzles with different types of spray, which have their own color marking for convenience.

The «younger» version of the professional model K7 in the Compact version received a simpler design, but the main difference is the characteristics of the high pressure pump: the maximum pressure here is only 145 bar with a capacity of 500 l / min. On the other hand, the entire set of options from the professional version has migrated to this device: the K5 also has a mud brush and a foam generator. There is no built-in hose reel in the Compact series. The hose itself, by the way, is also shorter by 2 meters — the price is almost half that, which is a good incentive to buy an “almost professional” model.

Thanks to its unconventional design for amateur car washes, this model immediately catches the eye. True, in the same way, the thought immediately comes that with its dimensions it will be more difficult to place it in the garage — but an open pump not only cools better, but also immediately shows what material it is made of. True, it would be a mistake to buy into the yellow color of the head — it is not brass, it is just anodizing, which is immediately visible live, unlike photographs. The pump head and body are light alloy, the pistons in the amount of three pieces are made of stainless steel.

Electric motor power — 2.5 kW, maximum pressure — up to 150 bar, pump capacity — up to 450 l / min. Not the most outstanding performance with such engine power, but allowing you to count on the fact that the engine does not work at its limit. The main thing is to take into account that with such a power, the sink is noticeably sensitive to the quality of the supply network, and in garages, where the wiring is often assembled according to the “so that it is” principle, and the power of the substation is not so hot, the sink can drain the voltage itself without reaching the nominal operating mode.

The foam generator tank is installed at the very bottom of the sink, at the lower arc, on which it abuts. Filling it because of this is not very convenient, but the foam generator itself works well.

By updating the AQT family of “green” (read amateur) sinks and giving them a more human-readable name, Bosch has retained their overall layout — as before, these sinks are designed for vertical installation, and they have a hose reel between the body and the transport handle high pressure.

Formally, this sink can be considered a replacement for the Bosch AQT 45-14 X model, which at one time, by the way, also managed to visit our rating of the best pressure washers. However, with a slight increase in engine power (from 2.1 to 2.2 kW), it added both in maximum pressure (150 bar at rated operating 110 bar instead of 140) and in productivity — from 450 to 480 l / h thanks to the new four-piston pump . Self-priming is also provided, although, of course, the optimal mode of operation for this model is to be fed with cold water from the water supply network.

In general, the update went well, although the sink still remained sensitive to temperature (well, you can hardly do anything here — for the amateur segment, this is still a common problem).

The designers have made this mini-sink rather non-standard: you will not see the usual “twist” of the pressure regulator on it. Instead, as on a washing machine, you can select the desired program with the buttons: “delicate wash”, “medium intensity” and “maximum”. Also in the general “control center” you can find the child protection function and the service indicator: it lights up automatically, hinting to the owner that it is time to perform the maintenance operations required by the instructions. Considering that most owners really “hammer the bolt” for regular maintenance, the designers of this model can say an honest “thank you”: maybe they won’t kill it with uncleaned engine cooling holes or unchanging oil.

Otherwise, its design is typical: the pump is aluminum, with a capacity of 510 liters per hour and a maximum pressure of 180 bar. The motor is single-phase, 2.5 kW. There is a built-in foam generator, but, as usual, it is better to replace it with a normal foam nozzle. But the fact that the kit immediately has a mud cutter is good.

The downside is obvious: the complication of the design has led to a rise in price, despite the fact that there are many competitors for this money. So fans of «press the button — get the result» will appreciate this model, but many will still puzzle over what exactly to choose.

A powerful pump for little money with good build quality is something that will definitely serve as a good recommendation for the new family of Swedish mini-sinks. At a budget price, we get a device with a convenient body and a drum for a hose (moreover, seven meters), and a sink can drive through itself in an hour up to 460 liters, which, in comparison with competitors for the same money, is simply an excellent result. The maximum pressure is 125 bar, the working pressure is 95. And this is with a motor power of 1.5 kW — why not a choice for a summer resident? It washes efficiently, the power grid does not load … True, it will not be very convenient to carry the sink to the country — it, like all models with an upper drum, has a large height dimension.

It is worth considering that the maximum self-suction height here is limited to one and a half meters, so you should not even throw a suction hose into a full-flowing well. It is better to provide a normal barrel, especially since it is not difficult to suck out 100-200 liters of water for the PW 125.

The pump, traditionally for this class, is made of aluminum alloy, capable of pumping up to 375 liters of water per hour. The maximum pressure is 165 bar, although, as with all aluminum pumps, you should not get carried away with it and work in a more gentle mode (90-110 bar). The motor is 1.9 kW, which, in principle, will be a balanced solution for a household sink: with less power, the motor will be overloaded, with more power, the requirements for the power supply will increase, which, for example, can become critical in a country house.

It is convenient that the manufacturer has provided a drum for winding — most of the time a household sink will be spent in the pantry, and it is more convenient to store it that way than with a repeatedly kinked hose on the side hook. The hose itself, however, is a bit short, but if you wish, you can pick up an analogue (the mount is similar to the «Champion’s»).

Of the minuses, it is worth pointing out the low efficiency of the standard foam generator — of course, it exists … but this can be the end of its description. It is worth considering the option of an external foam generator if it is often required.

The “Italian” is assembled with an aluminum pump, which, of course, must be taken into account: a 2.1-kilowatt motor gives the pump the ability to “squeeze out” up to 160 bar, but you shouldn’t get carried away with this, keeping in mind the resource (and keep in mind that self-priming during the service life also affects). A sink operated “to the fullest” will not last long — you do not need to wait for the “indestructibility” of professional models from a high-pressure washer for a house.

For the sake of cheapening, she had space for peeling. For example, it is worth replacing a regular hard hose — but the manufacturer did not stint on a reel for winding it. The gun and foam nozzle are also so-so — but the detergent container is large and conveniently refillable. In general, as always, the “budgets” of the Chinese assembly have something to tinker with. Nevertheless, after correcting some shortcomings and with proper operation, it will show itself well.
